Getting kicked out frequently

Nagaraj_Alla June 14, 2018

We are facing problem with Confluence. It is getting down frequently. While we are going through logs we are getting the following errors frequently.

"Caused by: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: Packet for query is too large (22556 > 1024). You can change this value on the server by setting the max_allowed_packet' variable."

"Caused by: com.mysql.jdbc.PacketTooBigException: Packet for query is too large (22556 > 1024). You can change this value on the server by setting the max_allowed_packet' variable."

We are unable to work until we restart MySql Service. After restarting the MySql service it is working for couple of hours, sometimes couple of days with out interruption and getting again the above errors.

Please help us to troubleshoot and resolve this issue as it is badly effecting in our production users.
