Getting an error when trying to run jira macros in Confluence

I am trying to run an external Xray Jira macros in Confluence, for example 'Test evolution macro' and getting an error: 'error retrieving chart data from server'.

Macro of 'test run summary' runs OK,

 

Any idea?

I would like to first understand the error that you shared in detail before we dig deeper into the issue. Can you please reproduce the issue and provide us with the following information to this ticket?

  • Screen shot from the Confluence page
  • Log snippets from atlassian-jira.log and atlassian-confluence.log when you replicate the problem

Hi, Nurit.

You can find the atlassian-jira.log in $JIRA_HOME/log/<atlassian-jira.log>.

The "Client must be authenticated to access this resource" potentially indicates that there might be an issue with the Application Link between the 2 apps. Though you mentioned that the Test Run Summary works fine, can you please confirm how the configuration looks like from the UI? Any issues with that?
