Hello Community!
I feel like there is a simple answer to this and I am just missing it lol... I am looking to insert a URL into a Confluence page and have the URL automatically display the title/name of the document/ticket.
In JIRA, when I add a URL for a Google Doc, Google Sheet, JIRA ticket, etc., it auto-populates the title, so I assume this must be possible in Confluence? I have added a screenshot of what a URL turns into when using JIRA for added clarification of what I am looking to accomplish:
Thank you for the help with this!
Hi @Matt Hyre providing you have application links between Jira and Confluence then in Confluence use one of the Jira macros.
Also if you link the Confluence Page to the Jira issue from Confluence it will create the reciprocal link in Jira. If you use the Link issue from an existing issue it will allow you to query for Confluence pages and apply it to the Jira issue it will show up in the Links section as a Wiki page.
I would suggest that rather than dropping your links into the Description field you add the field Link Issues to your Create screen or use the Linking after the issue is created.
