Hello, We are testing to set up a confluence with mostly external use. The main goal is to have space's which customers will have private access to and in the same time spaces which will be open for everybody and/or a specific group of customers. The problems we faced for now are the following: 1 - guests can only access one space; 2 - with a tier for 100-200 users that means only 1000 guests can be invited which will not meet our needs. Workarounds or other propositions reffering to our case will be appreciated.

I want to get the answers of the following questions:

1. How many external customers can we have. In our case the guest must be 1000 with the prefered tier but what about anonymous?

2. Is there a way that a guest can access more than one space?

3. Are there ways to add more guests?

4.Does the tier of Confluence should be the same one as we are using for JIra Cloud(as per plan and per users tier).

Thank you for the information.

Looking forward for your answers.

Best Regards

Mario

Hi @Mario Nikolov ,

  1. Number of guests is equal to number of licensed users x 5
This does not include anonymous users. When you give anonymous access to specific space, it will be available to anyone on the internet 👈
  2. No. If users will need access to more than one space (not including spaces open to public), you will need to buy Confluence license for each one of those users
  3. What do you mean by this? You'd like to have more than 1000 guests when you have 200 licenses?
If that's the case, you'd probably need to buy more Confluence licenses. You can't buy just guest licenses
  4. No—tiers and pricing plans can be different for each product/app

Cheers,
Tobi
