I just got the new editing experience and the full width doesn't ever actually take up the full width of my monitor (which is pretty wide). This is okay but it's centered instead of left aligned, so there's a lot of white space on both sides, which is really driving me crazy. Is there a way to fix this?
Hey @Leah Schneider, and welcome to the community.
It may sound funny, but how wide are we talking? 34" widescreen with fullscreen browser? 😅 I guess you will have to resize your browser window if the full-width layout is too narrow for you. I'm lacking a screen right now to verify. Can you add a screenshot to your question? 😁
Best, Max

It is a lot easier to use when it's left aligned. The old version was left aligned but I don't think I can go back.

No, unfortunately not. And yeah, it's not "full width", it's just a bit wider. That has been a complaint since it has been introduced. Sorry, Leah!

Is there a way to left align it? That would make this a lot easier to read.

Not that I'm aware. Some people use page layouts as a workaround (kinda) but it's still not optimal.

Maybe browse a bit through the Confluence editor explanation: Format your page - Layouts
I link directly to the layout section but there's more interesting information for you if you're new to Confluence 👍🏽

Thanks. I've looked into this. If you write a new comment saying that full width is not actually full width and just wider, I'll accept it as the answer.

Please consider accepting my response so others in the community can see that your question has been answered, although not resolved, unfortunately.

Can you not summarize the response into a new reply? I hate when I have to read through a bunch of comments to find which is the answer. But I do want to credit you for your help
