Dear Community,

as the title says, I need a list of all relevant and critical error codes in order to evaluate the logs.
We have logs that are over half a year old and would like to filter them for errors that are important. Since the logs record everything, such as incorrectly created pages or something like that, the log files are very large. We want to filter them by error codes like attacks or unauthorised accesses or similar.

Does anyone have a kind of list with the most important codes?

we use Confluence on our own installation and not the Cloud version.

Thanks in advance

Hi Michael

welcome to the Atlassian community.

One thing you should evaluate is the option to use the log analyzer built-in into Confluence

https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/log-scanner-and-scheduled-log-scanner-790796841.html

That page also points to a xml file containing regexp for certain problems https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/files/179443532/792496589/7171/1636017801092/confluence_regex_v2.xml

If you are looking to process the log files in an external tool like ELK i highly recommend the article from @Craig Castle-Mead on how WPP/Uhub make of of it https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/Maximizing-business-value-from-your-log-files-insights-in-to-app/ba-p/1126471

Hope that helps

Cheers

Kurt
