When working with colored text in Confluence, the color must be reselected for each letter/word. The color selection menu item always reverts back to the default color.
Is there a workaround that allows colors to be retained, or is Atlassian considering adding a “transfer format” option?
Best regards
Daniel
Hi! Yes, this can be a bit annoying in Confluence. Right now, the color picker doesn’t stay selected, so you have to choose the color again each time.
One quick workaround is to color one word, then copy and paste it and just change the text this way the color stays the same. It saves time!
Hopefully, Atlassian will add an easier way in the future like a “format copy” tool. Fingers crossed!
Hello @Daniel Pfeffer
You are right that it returns the default color back which is black. Right now, the color is not being perserved. Keep an eye for the roadmap: https://www.atlassian.com/roadmap/cloud?selectedProduct=confluence&
