Hi,

Instead of counting in the folder by folder, may I know if there is any place where I can get the below information easily: 

1. Total number of files in the current Confluence system
2. Number of files per directory
3. Type of files and naming conventions
4. Average file size
5. Any protection or encryption applied to the stored file?

It sounds like you are on server / data center and not cloud.  If you are on server you can get the some information through SQL on the DB but not to the detail you are looking for https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-find-the-number-of-pages-blogposts-and-attachments-720636388.html 

If you are on cloud you would need an app like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1229447/site-statistics-for-confluence-cloud?tab=overview&hosting=cloud  but it will also not have the detail you are looking for.
