Steps I've taken:

  1. Created a user and removed them from "confluence-users" group.
  2. Created a group and added user to that group
  3. Gave that group "Can use" global permission (so they can login)
  4. Gave that group permission to the one space

However, that user has access to both that one space, and the "default" space (as set in Configuration > Further Configuration). This space permission ONLY includes Confluence-adminstrators and Confluence-users groups.

notes:

  • global anonymous permission is off
  • this user above also has access to Jira

Question:

  • how do I ensure this user only has access to the ONE project space and not the default space (which includes internal info)?
