Exporting page to word is not exporting background table colors

Hi.

When exporting a page to word is there a way to get the background colors on tables to export also to match what was on the page?

Back in the day, I raised this feature request CONFSERVER-61416 to get it implemented in Confluence, but it looks like it hasn't received much traction since then.

You can try the below steps posted by one of the users. This is tried and tested approach for me.

1. Install the free add-on app – Confluence Source Editor from Atlassian Marketplace
2. Edit the page with the Word/PDF output failure.
3. Click Open in the source editor icon at, the top right of the screen.
4. Locate your colour row/cell.
5. Edit all the hex colour values, and replace them with text (green, red, yellow, etc). Replace the whole percentage tone parameter, Background colour, with text for the colour.
6. Update the page and export to word.

there's a bug ticket for that issue: CONFSERVER-61416

Please vote for that, it's not even in the backlog so far.
