I am trying to create a table inside a template in Confluence that can be exported to Jira for completion. I would like to create something that a Jira user can simply click on and complete without navigating back to Confluence. And, I would like the values entered to show up in the Confluence document linked to the Jira ticket. Has anyone done that before? And how?
I haven't seen this done - and whilst it might be possible - what's the benefit of doing this?
It seems like quite a lot of complexity, when you could just link the Jira ticket to a Confluence page - and have users access Confluence to populate the data.
Is there a reason for not taking the simple route?
