Excerpt include does not update content on the included page

I've been adding some included excerpts with text and a table in the excerpt.

However when I update the excerpt, the included page does not reflect the change

This is often a caching issue in Confluence.  Sometimes it helps to do a full reload of the page.

For your Excerpt elements, make sure the 'Hide excerpt on this page' option is disabled. You can check this by finding it in the Edit option on the Excerpt element:
