I have installed postgres (psql (PostgreSQL) 14.6 (Ubuntu 14.6-0ubuntu0.22.04.1)).
My database name is "confluence", my port is 5432 and it is listening, and my IP is 192.168.101.30.
When I try to test the database connection during the confluence install I get the following error:
Problem connecting to your database
SQLState - 99999
org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: Unable to parse URL jdbc:postgresql://192.168.101.30:5432 /confluence
I have googled and read through various confluence help pages, including the instructions to setup postgres, and I have even asked chatGPT.
Any ideas how to fix this problem?
Hey @Anthony Clark ,
welcome to the Atlassian community!
Please could you share a screenshot of your setup (I assume that you are doing that using installation wizard) so probably u provided a wrong information.

Thanks Fabio,
I have tried both postgres and confluence as the username as both those users exist and I have set the password.

Actually, never mind. I didn't realize Atlassian was end of lifeing running your own local confluence for free for 10 users. I've uninstalled it and am moving on with something else.
Thanks for your help.
