Error installing Confluence. I get an error when I try and run the Confluence installer: Could not use bundled JRE. Please send this log file to your software vendor: log:c:\users\administrator\appdata\local\temp\2\i4j_nlog_6

Can someone shed some light on this?  The error message is:

Could not use bundled JRE.  Please send this log file to your software vendor:

Any suggestions?

I'd have a look at the log file it has created - that might tell you what is wrong.

Can you see what the problem is from the log?

Yes.  You're either running a virus scanner that is getting in the way, or you're trying to install Confluence 5.8.16 which has a stinking bug in it - see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-39852
