I'm trying to make a private workspace public. I've allowed anonymous users in space permissions and in Global permissions have enabled the 'can use' check box. Still, it continues to ask for login information. We are on server. Can anyone help with this issues?
@Nibu Thomas What version of Confluence are you using
We are using 6.15.9
Anyway, one of our architects found the issue.
I suppose this needs to go into your documentation as well, because it's not mentioned and I found several other comments about a similar issue.
The visibility of the home page was restricted. So it was fixed by going to workspace. and click the elipses on the top-right and then click Restrictions.
Then ensure that the drop-down is set to No restrictions.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Got that, that home page is set restricted.
It is good to hear that you found the solution
