Embedding Confluence (Cloud) into Shotgun (iframe)

Hi Atlassian Community, 

I recently setup an Confluence (Cloud) setup and am attempting to pass a page into my shotgun site  (https://www.shotgunsoftware.com/) with utter failure and the following error

    "mysite.atlassian.net" refused to connect

    I can confirm that "mysite.atlassian.net" works correctly in another tab of the same browser.  

After contacting their support they suggested that confluence needs to allow iteself to be embedded in an iframe and provided a link to this:

Unfortunately the help doc explains how to do it if running confluence off your own hardware, how would I do the same with Confluence (Cloud)?

So from other posts a few years ago it appears to not be resolvable for Confluence Cloud:

So at this point the only solutions I've found are:

1. Use a different service :/
2. embedder for Confluence
   https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1217536/embedder-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview&_ga=2.68161240.818869911.1589243179-379137187.1589243179
   Unfortunately this doesn't really work with the target shotgun site
3. Use the confluence rest api to render content
