I am trying to insert the JIRA filter into a confluence document but I am getting a variety of errors.

When I click the feature to insert it I am prompted to "Login & Approve", to which when I click I get this error page-

"Authentication failed!

An error occurred while trying to obtain an access token. For application link "Floatme Jira () https://jira.floatme.io jira"

OAuth Problem Details

  • Failed to get token from service provider. Response status code is '503'

Does anyone know the solution?

Hi @Kyle Christopher ,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It's, for sure, an issue related to Jira Confluence AppLinks configuration. Here a complete guide about AppLink setup https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-applinks-to-link-to-atlassian-products/

Based on the screenshot it seems related to OAuth Authentication setup https://confluence.atlassian.com/applinks/oauth-security-for-application-links-774045732.html

If linked How-to guide don't fix your issue, please share a screenshot about ApplInk current config.

Fabio
