Hi Guys,
A couple of years ago I signed up and tested Confluence with my work e-mail address.
More recently my organisation has decided to on-board our entire Department into it using the Microsoft SSO link as the login.
As I already have an account with it's own password based on my work email address, will trying to login with the SSO link cause any issues with having 2 accounts or anything?
I'm currently logged in with my original email based account to lodge this query - not sure if I should apply to have it deleted and start over again - there is nothing in here that I need.
It has already connected to work others are doing on the team with the same email domain though.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Chris.
hey @Chris Carroll
Once your company enables Microsoft SSO, your existing Atlassian account with that work email will simply become a managed account, you won’t get a duplicate. The old password-based login will stop working, and you’ll log in via SSO instead. No need to delete your current account; it’ll automatically come under your organization’s control once the domain is claimed.
Oh wow - sweet thanks for the info.
Appreciate it - Chris.
