Hi Atlassian Community,

I am relatively new to the cloud version of Confluence and now I have some issues with the assigned hotkeys for the titles. Since I am using a German keyboard layout some of the hotkey combinations are preoccupied, for example

STRG + ALT + 0 creates a "}" instead of changing the text into normal text

STRG + ALT + 2 creates a "²" (the symbol for "squared") instead of changing the text into a second-level title

STRG + ALT + 3 creates a "³" (the symbol for "cubed") instead of changing the text into a third-level title

Is there any possibility to change the assigned hotkeys? I could of course use the mouse or change my keyboard layout but I would rather not if possible.

Thanks in advance
Markus

Hi @Markus Thürmann

Welcome to the community!

The tooling doesn't allow for the changing of hotkeys/shortcuts. They are hardcoded for both cloud and data center

Looking at their current feature requests I do not se an open request for this change in Jira, only Confluence, so you can always feel free to open one.

Best,
Clark
