Editing/Auto-count on Table

I have a table but need to be able to track something like an excel doc would.  For instance, I need to count the number of highlighted cells in a column and keep it a running number.  Can this be done in Confluence?

At the moment it is not possible to perform calculations/aggregation in Confluence without any 3rd party apps.

Thanks - was hoping to find a way to do it without an add-on, which equates to expense. Just wanted to see if there was functionality within what is already there.

Natively you can automatically only generate row numbers in Confluence.

For a full spreadsheet functionality you can try our Excellentable add-on to get the full functionality of Excel in Confluence.
