Edit users from imported template

Hesh Dan April 18, 2020

I recently imported a template to set up a new space. The imported template has information of users that created the template. For example, the pages show the user that created and other users as administrators. But these users do not exist in the group.

Hello Hesh,

Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to meet you.

Could you tell me where you obtained that template? Is this from another Cloud site you were managing?

You mentioned that the users don't exist in the group, but do you mean that those users don't have an account on your site? Or are they existing users but don't have access to Confluence?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Shannon

Hi Shannon,

Thank you.

I got the template from another organization and their users are not on the site. So they are neither existing users nor  they have access to confluence.

Thanks for your time and help.mu h appreciated.

Cheers..Hesh

Hi Hesh,

Thank you for confirming that. Could you show me how these names are appearing? Are they in the page content, or listed as last editor? If someone else edits the template, does it change?

Take care,

Shannon
