EDM predefined macro readonly when copying a page from one space to another

Hi,

I'm using the EDM predefined macro to provide a list of predefined options that users can select when documenting a page.

However, when I copy a page from one space to another, the macro switches to read‑only mode, and I’m no longer able to select any other values from the list. As a result, I have to update the page and reconfigure the macro manually.

Does anyone know if there's a way to reactivate the macro without having to update or reconfigure the page?

Generally speaking from experience... when you're copying a page from one space to another - you usually also copy metadata from marketplace apps. For things to work correctly, the marketplace app needs to be set up identically in both spaces (including permissions)

Based on the app's description (if I identified the app correctly), you can set it up on the global and space level.

Thanks, Kris, for your answer. The dropdown list is indeed identical in both spaces. Even after confirming this, I’m still experiencing the same issue.
