I was wondering if anyone knew how to dynamically update an Excel sheet by connecting it to the Oracle database (dipit). I want to embed an sql query to my excel sheet. I tried to connect the data that we have in Excel to the Oracle database, but I keep getting an error when I try to login with the credentials given to me that says : "The provider being used is deprecated: 'System.Data.OracleClient requires Oracle client software version 8.1.7 or greater.'. Please visit https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkID=272376 to install the official provider. Does anyone know how to solve this problem or have another way to Dynamically Embed an Excel sheet onto Confluence
I can't make a specific recommendation, but there are variety of SQL related apps for Confluence in the marketplace https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?product=confluence&query=sql
However, I doubt an embedded Excel file will work anyway, even if the connection to the Oracle database was working.
We tried to get an SQL app, but we do not have access to it. We don't want to embed the Excel file onto Confluence right now.
We want to focus on getting the connection to the oracle database working in Excel.
Do you know how we would be able to accomplish this?

I suggest you try a more appropriate forum to help you with Excel and SQL, like https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/
