Dynamic templates with page report macro

We currently use a predetermined template with a set of predetermined variables using the page properties macro to fill our product catalog at our company. 

I was wondering whether it is possible to automatically update all existing templates when you push a change to the general template. For instance:

• When adding a new variable or removing old variables
• When renaming specific variables

Do you mean apply changes to already created pages with this template, or are you referring to something else? 

Probably, if we talk about this (or any other bulk change-related scenario), you won't find some native solutions that support this. There are open feature requests such as CONFCLOUD-77189 but I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for.

An alternative could be Confluence automation and to play around with it based on a detailed use case, but this probably isn't quite basic to configure, although the recommendation would be to try it out in case you need to bulk update changes to multiple pages.

Hi Tomislav, yes that is indeed what I am looking for. I'll investigate the Confluence automation.
