Draw.io 'add a drawing' doesn't display the intermediate template selection dialog

Draw.io 'add a drawing' doesn't display the intermediate template selection dialog in my instance of Confluence. It just goes directly to a blank canvas.

How can I get the template dialog back?

draw.io for Confluence Cloud uses Atlassian's Connect API. The API is still fairly new and isn't complete, as a result we're not able to show the templates dialog. Integrating draw.io in Confluence Cloud is something of a hack to get it working at all. We do intend to provide the integration experience once the API allows us to.
