Drag-and-drop picture and adjust its size

Is there a better way to drag-and-drop picture and adjust its size?

With the latest update my workflow looks like:

0. Drag-and-drop picture. For some reason it's in-line.
1. click on picture
2. click size option
3. click original size
4. click on picture again
5. click "..." to view more
6. click resize
7. click convert to pixels
8. picture is not active anymore so click on picture again
9. click "..." to view more
10. click resize
11. finally! now it's possible to change width of the picture

Am I doing something wrong? Before the workflow was much simpler.

Put the cursor on a spot where you want the image to appear, then, when you drag and drop an image onto a Confluence page, it should slot right where the cursor is.

Then you can resize the image with these blue vertical bars on the site of the image.

And you also have a full set of controls in the tool bar under the image.
