Hi
I was recommended this platform by a colleague as I need to track documents as tasks.
But I have made an account and now have no idea how to use this platform in the way that I need.
As an example, I am a PA, so when my employer gives me things like his ID, credit cards etc. we need to be able to track when he handed it over, for what reason, who he gave it to, when it will be returned
Please can someone let me know if there is a way to use Confluence in this way
Hey @Madeleine Martin ,
To be honest Atlassian originally designed Jira for task management and Confluence for documentatation.
But luckily, you can do basic Task management in Confluence as well! Currently there are page statuses, which can be edited, but hard to overview multiple pages when looking for statuses.
Also check out for templates, when you want to quickly create similar content, it can really fasten your workspeed.
With our app Advanced Content Navigator for Conflluence, you can overview multiple pages with page statuses at a glance! Even more, you can
Here I did insert 4 macros, all from different department. This is what you can do with your documentation as well, no matter how you organize them, just select the root location.
Let me know if that helps,

@Madeleine Martin welcome to the Atlassian community
You can use confluence for that. You could create a page template that you use to create a new page every time you need to track this or you could have a single page that you track it on.
I would actually recommend using Jira-Service-Management. You could raise a request ever time you do something for your employer and close out the issue when you give it back.
How does your current business process work? What information are you tracking?
