On Windows, while it's not universal, many apps support the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + V to paste without formatting. These include Chrome, Firefox, and Evernote.

I do see a feature request for the old editor but i do not see one for the new editor. You can submit a feature request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa

For the feature on the old editor they said they weren't going to do it but the reasoning seems to be more around the deprecation of the old editor rather than the feature itself: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-61363
