Do space exports reflect the confluence storage usage for that space?

David January 23, 2024

We are over our storage limit and need to find out which spaces are using the most storage, has the largest attachments, etc... Unfortunately, we are unable to use the REST API method that is mentioned in the link.
I have exported one of our spaces in different formats and each of those formats have different sizes and different counts of file contents. We have the standard plan and with that we have many spaces that have been active for several years. Having our global admin go through each space, and or page with their corresponding attachments manually is not really an ideal option.
I am also under the understanding there's currently no "consequence" for being over our limit, but we would like to be proactive in the event that may change.

•Would Atlassian support be able to help us with identifying which spaces and files are using the most space?
•If not, do space exports in one of the available formats reflect the confluence storage usage for that space?

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to reply. I appreciate you!
