The other day I was wondering if it's possible to use issue filter within Confluence for Jira Service Desk user (customer) - the answer was no (only for licensed user). But now I wonder, cause in the documentation it's stated this should be possible, but I assume this is only true again for the cloud version?
Confluence only allows users to see jira tickets that they have access to. In order for users (customers) to see the JSD tickets, the customers will require a jira license to the "Browse Projects" permission in your JSD Project.
In addition to that, they would need a confluence license as well unless you have your confluence page open to everyone.
I hope this helps.
