Difference between HTML macro and Power BI connector

My understanding is that both "Power BI Connector" and "HTML macro" need the power bi report ID as input and their token type is embed.

So is there any specific difference between Power BI Connector and HTML macro?

Any advantage of using one over the other?

Hi @sri k I'd say the big difference is that you get Power BI functionality with the Connector.  The HTML macro on the other hand won't give you that, is disabled by default due to security concerns.
