since I was staying on the free plan I did not respond when i got the notice to activate paid version.

Now ALL my content is gone!! This is terrible, finally found a free wiki and put quite a lot of time into the project - for nothing.

At the least, I'd expect better info!!

Hi @Cayenne ,

I know that must feel very frustrating after putting so much work into your space. Trudy’s explanation is spot on — Atlassian usually sends multiple warning emails before any data is removed, and even then there’s typically a grace period where the content is still recoverable if the subscription is reactivated.

I’d recommend checking the Billing section at admin.atlassian.com (as @Trudy Claspill  mentioned) to see if your site is still listed there. If it is, you may still be able to reactivate it and get the content back.

If you don’t see it listed, I’d suggest opening a support ticket with Atlassian right away — they’ll be able to confirm whether the data is still recoverable.

Hopefully it’s just a suspension and not a permanent deletion.

Hello @Cayenne

Did you sign up for a free plan from the start, or did you sign up for a trial of a paid plan?

If you signed up for a free plan, did you sign up for a short term trial?

Did you potentially exceed the limit of no more than 10 users in your free plan?

Before suspending or deactivating your subscription Atlassian would have sent warning emails about the impending change.

If the subscription has been recently suspended then it should be possible to reactivate it. If you had exceeded the maximum users for a free plan you may have to deal with reducing the user count and/or paying for the amount of time you used the product while exceeding the maximum user count.

Even after deactivating a subscription Atlassian holds on to the data for a short period of time before permanently deleting it, giving you a chance to reactivate the subscription. They would've sent emails about the impending deletion of the data also.

If you go to the Billing section of https://admin.atlassian.com do you see the product listed there still?
