Hi Phil,

Thanks for using the Atlassian Community!  When you say a "Portal Only User", do you mean a Jira Service Management Portal User?

If so you can delete a Portal Only User via the steps described here depending on which User Management Experience you have.

Best,
Andy

Hello @Phil Dorcas

One important distinction here, @Andy Rusnak : the permissions needed for this are at the Organization Admin / Site Admin level, not the Product Admin level.

So in this case, your current Product Admin access would not be enough. You would either need elevated permissions or help from someone in your organization who already has Org Admin or Site Admin rights.

Good point.  Thank you, Arkadiusz, Wroblewski!

When accessing the portal users and there is no way to delete a user, make note of his organization.  Then go to the "organizations" tab instead of the "customers" tab.  Find the organization and delete him from the organization.  That will delete the portal-only user.
