Deleted pages are not in the trash

Two pages that I created in my personal space have been deleted and are not in the trash. I might have accidentally deleted them. However, I just looked at my trash for the first time yesterday, so I know that I didn't purge them.

Yep, I'm sure that I created them in the first place. I even linked to one of them from another page and had verified the link.

Why wouldn't a page have gone to the trash?

Were those pages actually published?

When did you delete them? Is there a policy active (via ScriptRunner for example to automatically deleted trashed pages after a certain period?)

I would have deleted them within the past two weeks.

The pages were published.

I don't think my company runs a script like that. All of the trash cans I've ever seen never appear to have been purged. Mine hasn't because I still see pages in the trash that I deleted several months ago after I first started working at the company.
