Default Color for Hyperlinks in the Panel Macro

Keith Stephens November 9, 2022

We have a wiki that uses the Panel macro. The panel has a background color of black and the text items in the panel are white. The text items are hyperlinks. This started off life in Confluence V5, but we are now on V7.19.1.

When trying to add a new text item with a hyperlink to a webpage the linked text is teal, not white.

Question: does anyone know how to make a hyperlink in the Panel macro have white colored text? I have tried highlighting the text and setting the color to white, but the hyperlink continues to default to teal.

If there's no way around this I will recommend a style change for this macro, but if it is possible to make hyperlinked text white, that would be preferable.

Thanks!

You should be able to change the instance CSS to do what you want. You will need to play around with the selector to just get what you want. Or you may want to move a user macro to gain more control.

Note, change the CSS will impact all instances of the panel macro.
