I have a simple database where I have a field to link to existing pages (or create a new page) for related information. I can create a new page (using pop up search bar) or link to an existing one without any problem - but subsequently when trying to open page again at a later date its a 50-50 if it will actually open or not.
I have noticed the URL when hovering over link (and what it tries to open) is short version of the usual link that shows anywhere else you use links
e.g. ....atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/~/pages/498149441
This wont load and simply returns a page not found.
I have found that I can 'sometimes' refresh this page or try clicking the original database link several times and it will then load ->
.....atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ABCD/pages/498149441/1.1+Linkged+Page+Title
So either keep clicking the link or refreshing the page makes it suddenly become found
Welcome to the Atlassian Community @Alan King _PSP Cyber_ !
Are you still having the problem you reported?
Best,
Fadoua
Unfortunately yes - it seems less frequent and F5 refresh is more common to find page on 2nd attempt.
I have another DB set up in same space which doesn't seem to have same issue, the only difference is the pages in the one not working all start with numbers.

How about running a test by renaming one of the pages starting with a number?

Should have said I tried that early on, indeed most of the pages had numbers added only in a later edit so thats likely not the issue - either way it made no difference as the short link that is first used remains unchanged when renaming pages (and is itself a series of numbers only).
As it seems to come and go it makes it even more difficult to test as can think its been resolved one day and the next its as bad as ever - as such I suspect an issue with our service overall so presumably others will start to report similar issues.
Thanks anyway.
