Data Protection- View Space Activity

Hi All,

We would like to try out the Space Activity function, but we need to clarify a few points regarding data protection beforehand.

1. does the data leave your own environment?
2. conclusions can be drawn about user activity based on the data.

3. will personal data be analysed or only aggregated data?

Has anyone been able to gather experience here?

Hi @Kari welcome to the Atlassian community.

Please be informed, I haven't explored this function. However, able to pull some details from this official documentation.

If you enable the space activity, the screen displays statistics on the activity in each space. These include:

• How many pages and blog posts have been viewed, added or updated over a given period.
• Which content is the most popular (most frequently viewed).
• Which content is the most active (most frequently edited).
• Which people are the most active contributors/editors of content.

I have had a look at the documentation but couldn't find the information i need. 

As I understood your correct under point four 

• Which people are the most active contributors/editors of content.

the personal information will be displayed?

Who could give some more information regarding my questions?
