Hi Guys, we are migrating a knowledge base that is used for support from a tool to Confluence, currently, I have 3 fields Issue, Description, Resolution. I would like to have a confluence subpage created for each of the rows in the excel sheet. Is it possible?
Hello Praveen,
Welcome to Atlassian Community! It's nice to have you join us.
It's not possible to do this with Excel, but if you can get the data into a page in Word, you can create pages that way:
Split by heading when importing from Word will allow you to split the document headings into hierarchical pages.
Otherwise, you would need to somehow feed the data from your Excel spreadsheet to the Confluence site using Confluence Cloud REST-API in order to create those pages. This is a more advanced method, but easier to use if you're trying to automate the creation.
I hope this helps, but please let us know if you have any questions about that.
