Create sub-task from Confluence space

Is there a way to create a sub-task for a project from Confluence. I'm creating issues from Confluence but once I select the project this issue type is not being included on the list. I've looked at the project configuration and Sub-Task is already included in the issue type scheme.

Hi Juan,

I tried on my test instance and experienced the same behavior you are describing. My sub-task issue types are not available when I highlight text in Confluence to create a Jira issue.

Further research revealed we have a suggestion ticket open to add the functionality: Ability to create jira sub-tasks in confluence.

Please comment or vote on the issue to communicate directly with the development team. There is more info on how we prioritize features in Implementation of New Features Policy.
