Workaround as described in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-70992 is not working. The bug is still there, and as workaround cannot be applied, working with Create from template in a Global Template doesn't function at all.
There are no alternative options to work around it. Even when you use the global template, create the page and then update the create from template to create pages in the correct space, it still creates it by default in the space you were forced to input when creating the global template.
It seems it is hard coded when setting up the global template where you must enter one space to select a template.
Dropped a vote.
Workaround, however, isn't much of a workaround actually, as within the global template you hardcode the space key and then, once you create the page from that global template, you'll need to edit the macro to specify current (or any other) space where you wish to create those page from the button 👀
So yeah, seems there's no clean solution for it.
Potentially, at some point, smart buttons will replace this (and likewise) macros.
