Create Space Dialog Loads Indefinitely

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
When attempting to create a new space, the dialog crashes/freezes.
System:
- - Ubuntu 16.04
- - Postgresql 9.3
- - Confluence 6.8.1
Logs:
This appears in the browser console:
The issue persists, when accessing confluence with http. I can not provide any logs for that right now, since I would need to shutdown confluence.
It's also worth noting that updating confluence, which usually reverts all modified files doesn't fix it.
EDIT: I'm still able to create new Spaces with the REST API browser
