Hello,,
From the Manage Space -> Content Statuses, I'm looking to define list of statuses that I designed in our document life cycle ?
We have designed to have 7 different statuses but we can define only 5 maximum as per below screenshot:
Is there a way to increase this threshold a bit ?
Note, I know workaround will be to use "Create custom statuses" feature, but it's not satisfied for us.
Thanks
This is a real pain, as Confluence Cloud's built-in statuses don't really support the needs of larger, or even mid-sized team's needs.
I wrote a piece about how Better Content Archiving, the go-to content lifecycle management tool for all Confluence deployment types handles this with many more custom content statuses.
The added bonus is that Better Content Archiving for Confluence is all about automation: your new content statuses can be applied automatically, as well as manually. Then notifications can be sent out as well, or archiving/deletion automation can be kicked off.
Go this way if you prefer a short tutorial video >>
or
learn more about custom statuses in Confluence Cloud in the documentation!
(Please note that Better Content Archiving is a free/paid, supported app and I'm part of the team developing it.)
Hi @Christophe Vidaillac welcome to the community. I took a quick look at Atlassian's jira site (jira.atlassian.com) but didn't find anything related to expanding that number. I don't think there is a way of increasing that number, but you could check with support to see if there is something in Jira I missed. (support.atlassian.com/contact).
Hope that helps.
