So imagine you have a new or old confluence page with a table in it. The table was made with the confluence insert table. you copy paste an article(A) from the internet in it. Still works fine. But if i now copy past under article(A) another article its erases article(A) instead of pasting it under it. Let me elaborate how the selection and copying of the text goes.
First i click somewhere inside the first sentence. Then i double click the whole sentence the select that whole sentence. Then i pull down to select the whole article. Then i press ctrl C en Ctrl V it in the confluence table.
Doesnt always happen and only with this specific type of selection. The error occurs on windows and on mac. But only tested it in the Chrome browser.
Hi Kevin,
Could you let us know your Confluence version, and which browsers you are able to replicate this in?
Regards,
Shannon
Only tested it in chrome so far. I'll let you know when i experience it in other browsers aswell.

Thank you, Kevin.
I have not been able to replicate it thus far, so please do let us know if the issue occurs in other browsers.
Could you also confirm the issue occurs in Chrome with all add-ons disabled and in incognito mode?
Regards,
Shannon

Ive tried it with all addons disabled in chrome, on different computers and in incognito. Same weird quirk keeps happening.

Hi Kevin,
Thank you for confirming.
I'm still not able to replicate this. Does it occur every time? Are you perhaps able to record a video of it happening so I can see if you're maybe doing something slightly different? You can use something like screencast-o-matic to record it using test data.
Thank you for your help!
