Hi everyone,
I am currently trying to translate designated tasks from Confluence to MS Teams tasks.
The idea is to:
1) Create a task in Confluence and add a responsible person.
2) The tasks is then transferred into a specific kanban board which is part of a Teams channel.
I know that it is possible to add confluence pages in the Teams channel, but this is not sufficient for what we are aiming to do.
Does anybody know, if there is a solution for this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Kai
Hi, @Kai Heckel and welcome to the community!
I can not see how this could be achieved with some kind integration. The action item in Confluence is just a simple macro with some limited intelligence. The board in Teams does not have much functionality either.
You can however create a Jira work item directly from Confluence using a macro and assign it to member in a project.
Best regards,

Uh, interesting requirement @Kai Heckel 👀
Can you just clarify this:
The tasks is then transferred into a specific kanban board which is part of a Teams channel.
When you say Kanban board > is this Jira kanban board we're talking about, or some other board type which is somewhat directly embedded in Teams (native Microsoft functionality)?
Cheers,
Tob

I am talking about the Kanban we have inside of Teams. There I created a channel and in there I opened up a register card "Planner" using the MS Planner tool.
So I am thinking of bringing the tasks vom Confluence into one of those swimlanes, you can see in the picture.
I attached a screenshot.
Cheers,
Kai
