Contributions macro edits stuck at 99

The contributions macro does not seem to go above 99 edits.

When people add additional edits to pages nothing changes.

Are "edits" counted only for new pages or for changes to existing pages? If multiple changes are made to the same page does this count only as 1 edit or should they be counted as multiple ones?

It would be nice to see a count of pages created as well.

Does anyone have any ideas on this ? This feels like a bug to me, how do I get it raised as such?
