Is it possible that content can disappear from live pages? I checked my pages today, and some of them still have content, but some are empty (it shows no recent updates in version history).
When I created the pages, I waited for the changes to be saved for sure, so I never closed pages that were still processing edits.
Apologies for delay on our end!
I created a ticket with our support team on your behalf, you should hear from them soon. The ticket key is JST-1304001.
Best,

@Elizaveta Gurdzhi Well... It's not usual or expected, but I wouldn't say it's not possible. 👀
Are these new pages have you migrated them recently from the legacy editor? I'm asking because there was (or is?) one hiccup related to converting pages from legacy to the new editor that might result in this.
What you could also try/check is the following: How to retrieve Confluence Storage Format on cloud
Not sure if it would help, but to potentially check if there's anything written in the backend of the actual page/doc.
As you mentioned, there is a possibility to use page versions/history, but if that's also empty, it might be a system issue.
Are you the only user, or are there other people on this instance as well? If there are others, are they seeing the same thing and have they experienced the same problem recently?
Cheers,
Tobi

Hi @Tomislav Tobijas, thanks for your suggestions!
All the pages that have missing content weren't migrated from the legacy editor, they were created from scratch in the last couple months.
I have checked cloud storage format - it is empty for these pages as well, just like version history.
Other users of the instance also see empty pages.
Good that I have backups for almost all the information that went missing, so I can recover it.
I will explore backup recovery options now :)

It's cool to hear that you have backups for all or the majority of things. Most people don't have that 😅
And yeah... regarding backups - you could do a whole site backup or a single space export. I have my private instance where I kinda do both, from time to time, depending on how often I use it.
If you're really keen to see what happened here, I could probably flag it to the community team, and they can maybe raise a support ticket in your name for further troubleshooting. 👀

@Tomislav Tobijas thanks for your response! Space export sounds like a nice solution, and probably a good habit to create it from time to time.
If that's not too much of a trouble for you, that would be amazing if community team or support could look into the issue - out of mere curiosity about what happened there. Let me know if you need links of page examples where the content went missing.
Really appreciate your involement!

Np. I've pinged the forum support team and someone should reply within 2 business days. They will probably provide more info or request some additional info if needed 🙂
Until then, have a great weekend!
