Content Index Administration missing in Configuration menu

Michael Radeka February 25, 2018

Hi there, I'm following the instructions on

https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/content-index-administration-148844.html

, however this option does not exist in the menu.

I am an administrator on the Site.

Also, I can see content that will not appear in search results so need the above to work in order to diagnose why the content is not turning up in search results.

Q1.   Does Content Index Administration / Content Index still exist as an option to use?

Q2.   Where is it? (So I can re-index the site pages)

Thanks in advance for your input :)

Hi Michael,

Depending on how you say you're a Site Admin, I assume you're using Atlassian Cloud? In Atlassian Cloud, this feature is turned off, see https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Why-is-cloud-confluence-indexing-disabled/qaq-p/337558

Hi Pavel,  if its turned off what can be done about the fact that content is not being indexed at a regular enough basis?   We have a particular page we know has a string e.g. 'P0001' but the search finds older documents with the string but not a newer document?   I gather this is a question for Atlassian themselves to answer?
