Hi Guys!
Is it possible to provide read-only space to users with active Atlassian Access user, but without a Confluence license?
On a server, this is solved in such a way that the Confluence itself is only available on the corporate network, and there are spaces with anonymous access. In the case of Cloud Confluence, it is not possible to restrict network access, so we are looking for an alternative solution.
Thanks!
Robert
We're working on adding SAML authentication to our app Scroll Viewport, which lets anyone view the contents of a space, even without a license. Currently, Scroll Viewport sites are accessible on the public internet, but once we've released the SAML functionality, you could put it behind a login.
As far as I understand Atlassian Access, it is not a SAML Identity Provider, but can be a consumer. If you have an SAML identity provider I think you'd be able to use it as user store for a Scroll Viewport site.
So, not an answer for today, but maybe for the near future.
Hi Matt,
Thank you for the replay, we will keep an eye on your solution!
