Confluence - error message while trying to open Confluence

Hey, there,

please, can somebody help me why Im getting an error message while trying to open my Confluence?

I created new Jira account and Space. But Im getting an error message when I try to open Confluence.

I really appreciate your help :)

This appears to be a generic Confluence error message, so it doesn't provide enough detail to identify the root cause.

A few things you can check:

• Verify that Confluence has been added and activated for your Atlassian site.
• Go to Atlassian Administration and confirm that Confluence appears under Products.
• Try accessing Confluence in an incognito/private browser window.
• Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again.
• Check whether your user account has been granted access to Confluence.
• If the site was created recently, wait a little while and try again, as provisioning can sometimes take time.

Could you also let us know:

• Is this a brand-new Atlassian site?
• Are you the site administrator?
• Does the issue occur for all users or only for your account?
• What URL are you trying to access?

These details will help narrow down the cause.

Hi, Nathalia,

Im in incognito mode right now.

I´m on admin.atlassian.com, click "Add app", than choosed "Confluence - Try it now" under "Start with a single app", than typed "sibirska.atlassian.net" in "Use an existing site".

When I click on "Add" the error message occures.

Hi Patrik,

Just to confirm: did you create a Jira site first and then try to add Confluence afterward?

If so, try opening:

https://sibirska.atlassian.net/wiki

and see what happens.

Also, check under Billing > Manage subscriptions (or Products) to see whether Confluence was actually added to the site. Sometimes the product is provisioned even when the setup wizard fails.

If Confluence is not listed there, I'd suspect the site provisioning failed on Atlassian's side.

yes, I created a Jira site first. I am on Free plan.

When I try to open the page https://sibirska.atlassian.net/wiki

I get an error message, which I have attached.

I'm thinking about completely deleting my account and linked services, and starting fresh.

What do you think?
