Confluence does not display correctly on phone browsers

I'm evaluating Confluence to replace Google Docs. I need it to work well on a variety of phones and tablets. I've tried a few different browsers on Android, but none of them display Confluence properly. It's not even close to usable. Is there a setting to fix this problem?

Did you also test the Confluence app for iPhone and Android?

Hi Mikael,

Not tested the app yet because I also need Confluence on devices that don't support the app... Like Fire tablets and Linux devices. In other words it needs to work everywhere.

Mobile web browser compatibility is standard these days for most web applications... And I thought for sure that I've seen Confluence work in that context before. So, I was just wondering what I was missing.
